This workshop is geared for the new yogi, but is also open to anyone who wishes to understand the basic poses a little bit better!

Your Workshop Instructor, Joanne, will provide verbal cues, take you through common yoga terminology and demonstrate the posture and technique of Sun Salutation A. Poses will be broken down, explained and practiced.

Come prepared to have fun and learn something new. Bring a mat if you have one, or reserve one with us if you don’t.

If you can breathe, you can do yoga. Take your first step, we can’t wait to meet you!

“Hi there! It’s Joanne- one of your yoga instructors at SCRAM. I am 38 years old, have been practicing yoga for 8 years (more seriously in the past 3 years). I have gotten certified last year and have been teaching since.

I am not flexible (no, really!) and have mobility issues, especially in my right shoulder, but with the right guidance and amendments I still practice, because yoga is in fact, truly for every body. All is required is patience, acceptance and discipline.
