SCRAM Welcomes newest addition to the team, Andrew!
Here’s a bit about Dru!
“My passion for Sport, Health and Fitness was sparked at a noticeably young age when I was told the story about Austin Cassar Torregiani, a relative than ran the 100m against the great Jessie Owens in the 1936 Olympic Games in Berlin. My 15 year journey as a track and field athlete has taken me around the world and given me the opportunity to represent Malta on the National team on several occasions. The peak of my career was in 2018 when I represented Malta at the Commonwealth Games in Australia, the memories of performing in front of such a crowd as well as my family will give me goosebumps for years to come.
My love for sport transcends my own personal goals on the track, I am also committed to expanding and sharing my knowledge about health, fitness and performance in order to share with others and help make small yet effective and positive changes in people’s lives.
With experiences at Loughborough University as a Sports Therapist, working as an F45 Coach in Australia and recently qualifying as a Pilates instructor, I am confident that together with the team at SCRAM, we can help you maximise the benefits of your time spent in the gym and help you recover in an intelligent way.
I am so excited to be part of the family here, sharing good times and hard workouts.
Let’s Sweat!
P.S. There is a funny side to the story when it comes to Austin & the Olympics. Ask me next time you see me at the gym 😉 “
